Dancing in the Street

I know the title's a cliche, but I couldn't resist. Sunday was Car Free Day in Kensington Market, and this couple seemed to be having lots of fun dancing to the Salsa music!

Soggy Sunday Morning

Rained all day yesterday, and it's going to be a damp week, but these two did their best to stay dry.

Henpecked?

Or "caught in the act"? Whatever, this band at Toronto's Afrofest a couple of weekends ago had lots of fun on stage!

She was doing some promotion thing at Toronto's Pride festivities on the weekend, and I guess it was her break - a badly needed one at that...

Song for a Sunday Morning

Kensington Market was quite devoid of pedestrians at 11am Sunday morning, but that didn't stop this young lady from singing her heart out.

Double-double to Go

What could be more Canadian than a mobile cuppa Tim's?

For you non-Canadian viewers, "Tim's" is what we call Tim Horton's Donuts. Started about forty years ago by one of our more popular hockey heroes (who died tragically just before his retirement from the game), the coffeeshops now dot the landscape From Sea to Shining Sea; many of the locations have a drive-through, so you need never leave your car to enjoy.

Although I prefer my coffee black (no sugar), it seems most people like theirs with two creams, two sugars (makes me cringe), hence "double-double".

Welcome to Canada

Fury III

They don't make 'em like this any more...

Thank God!

I know this is a black and white blog, and for that reason I showed the B&W photo first, but it really does work much better in colour, no? The "matching" walls are pretty cool. Even the brown/reddish brick on the left works with the car, don't you think?

Droplets

It could be a soggy weekend, but that's okay. These tulips didn't mind a bit of extra moisture, so neither will I.

Have a great one!
