The Matador Club



















The Matador has been around for decades (as this sign clearly shows). It's been illegally selling alcoholic beverages after hours on weekends forever. The cops know about it. City Hall no doubt knows about it. Pretty much everyone in Toronto knows about it.

How (or why) it hasn't been busted I'll never know. But it's a part of our cityscape now, and when it's gone there'll never be another one like it...
