Two questions knarf, please. What size chainring/cog do you use? What messenfer bag do u use? On my Fonfriest i use 47/18 with flat pedals[no cages] and front break. Blue Zo bag-mid size.
Nice to hear from you again! Any pix of your Fondriest to share?
I run a 49/17. Use a Crumpler bag - don't know the model number, and to be honest with you, it's not the best bag in the world, as it's not completely waterproof - water-resistant only, so in downpours, the contents can get quite damp. Nice size, though, and it's been quite durable over the past couple of years that I've had it.
That's a wonderful photo a very cool ride. But what's all this nonsense about cleaning it? Are you trying to tell us that we're _supposed_ to clean our bikes?
Any plans to continue your series of close-up photos of your bike's components?
FWIW, I'm running 39/16 on the old Continental. 39/14 was a bit tall and left the knee bones sore, even after very short rides.
Wicked photo Knarf
